Hiya!
Wow, it's exciting to appear on the What's New blog! Thanks to Billybob for such a warm welcome, and to all of you guys for your kind comments.
So, this is my first post and I've got some amazing news to share with you... but before we get to that, I'd like to tell you a little about myself. My name is Daffodaily5, but some people just call me Daffo (it's quicker, I guess) and I'm from Club Penguin here in the UK (hence the raincoat).
Some of you guys have asked about my favourite things to do on Club Penguin; at the moment, decorating. I don't change my outfit much, but I'm always changing my igloo. At the moment it's a crazy disco jungle (I'm a bit of an outdoors-y type).
Anyway, enough about me, let's get to my exciting news from the UK! With the Adventure Party coming August 23, we wanted to make some cool, fruity costumes and igloo items for you to collect (one of my favourites is the kiwi armchair)!
Watch out for special packs of innocent smoothies and fruit tubes for kids in shops across the UK - if you manage to collect all the items you'll get a fantastic pineapple igloo. Check out the video below for more info:

I've really enjoyed seeing everyone rocking out at the Make Your Mark: Ultimate Jam. I had an awesome time, and can't wait for the next party.
There was tons to check out during this music and dance party, so I wanted to share with you some of the superstar action we saw all over the island.
If you want to keep the party going you can always watch Cadence's music video for "The Party Starts Now", or download the song from iTunes.

Meanwhile, the team's been working on some new costume ideas, and we'd love your help! Would you help us decide which item you'd like to see in an upcoming catalog? Take a look at these three concepts and vote for which one you'd like to see in the future.

Guess what? Cadence's first song, "The Party Starts Now" is finally available! You can download the song for $1.29 on iTunes.
HUGE special thanks to everyone who's already downloaded the song. You made it the #1 song in many places!!
The song is also available on Amazon and Google Play in some countries.

You might've seen in the newspaper that during the party Cadence is putting on a concert! And the best part is, it's open to everyone!
To get you ready to rock, here's the full music video for "The Party Starts Now!"
Make sure you head to the Snow Forts to catch Cadence's show. And if you're like me and keep pressing replay on the music video, "The Party Starts Now!" will be available to download starting July 17, from iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
